Unwanted diagrams
Unwanted diagrams
Whenever I work with Impress, diagrams suddenly pop up. Is there any way to disable eventual hotkeys or to disable or uninstall diagram functions completely? (I never use diagrams, btw)

Re: Unwanted diagrams
Greetings and welcome to the community forum!
Sorry, I'm not sure I understand what you're referring to. By "diagrams" do you mean the gray panels/icons that appear at the center of the slide area? Or maybe it's the slide layout options that appear in the sidebar area?
You don't have to use the slide layout templates; just choose the "blank" layout and then make new slides by duplicating an empty one. I'm not sure there's any way to disable it altogether.

Can you upload an .odp type sample file and a screenshot here with that "diagram"?Whenever I work with Impress, diagrams suddenly pop up.

Re: Unwanted diagrams
Hello,
I mean the kind of diagrams you would use in business presentations. And oh, it looks like it's called chart
in English. In In short, it looks very close to the 3D chart on this site:

Re: Unwanted diagrams
So, when you start a new presentation (File > New > Presentation ...) it has a chart instead of an empty slide?
If so, that sounds like your default template has been changed.

Re: Unwanted diagrams
Hello,
it doesn't happen directly after the start, but when I already have created some slides.
The chart mostly appears on the actual slide, but sometimes on the one before.

Re: Unwanted diagrams
An erroneously typed Alt I C would give that; perhaps a typing error?
