[Solved] Advancing Slides?

Postby chuckledarkly » Thu Apr 13, 2017 5:40 am

Hello!

First time poster here I just had a quick little question about impress i couldn't seem to find a answer to. (it's probably out there but i cant seem to find it)

Is it possible to make slides not advance? What I mean by that is can i add buttons to a page and have it only advance if those said buttons are pressed?

Currently i have a page with various buttons and clicking on them takes me to the appropriate places. But if i click anywhere besides on them it advances to the next slide and i don't want that. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

Go to the menu Slide Show -> Slide Show Settings. It has a selection for Change Slides by Clicking on Background. Try deselecting that.
Windows 10 and Linux Mint, since 2017
If your question is answered, please go to your first post, select the Edit button, and add [Solved] to the beginning of the title.
