There should be a way to prevent Hyperlinks from being entered. Microsquish Office has settings in the Tool menu under options. I would like to see a way to remove all hyperlinks at once. If I use the Default format, everything is removed (e.g. bold entries on some of my entries.

There should be a way to prevent Hyperlinks from being entered.

There is an option to prevent the automatic recognition : Tools>AutoCorrect and uncheck URL recognition.

There is an enhancement request to remove the hyperlinks from the Hyperlink dialog, you can subscribe and vote for that issue : Issue 7311 - hyperlink can not be removed by hyperlink dialogue.

NB: I've moved your thread because it was not really an advanced use of OOo.
