On MS Word there is a clipboard available that enables one to make up to 12 "copy"s before pasting into a document. This saves time in going back and forth between two documents, doing a copy, paste, copy, paste, etc. It is much easier to copy, copy, copy, copy, paste, paste, paste or even copy, copy, copy, copy, paste all.
I haven't been able to figure out how to do this in OpenOffice and can't find directions anywhere. Don't even know that this ability is part of OpenOffice.
Would appreciate any help with this matter. Thanks!

No such feature yet with OOo. Have always deactivated that with MS Office BTW.
You can ask for it (haven't seen a request for that yet): [Tutorial] Reporting bugs or suggestions.
