openoffice.org-suite.com

Post by lewis »

Does anybody else have a problem with this:
openoffice.org-suite.com

Note that you have to pay to become a member before you can download.

I recommended Oo.o to a friend, but I just found out he got suckered by these guys.

My questions...
Legally:
Do they comply with the license?
Is there a trademark breach?

Ethically:
Are they contributing anything back?

I notice they're not listed here:

There's already several threads on this site. Bottom line seems to be that what they are doing in, strictly speaking, legal. If extremely underhanded.
