[Solved] Active cell border missing in Calc?

I've been totally frustrated with this. On my Windows 10 machine, the active cell, when mouse clicked, has a nice, dark, border around it. On our other Windows 10 machine, Calc shows no border on the active cell. Where does one look to find the border settings for the active cell? Obviously, it isn't the gridline settings. I've attached screen shots of both.

As far as I know, there are no settings that affect the current cell border.

You can check under Tools > Options > OO > View ...

Or Tools > Options > OO Calc > View ...

Have you tried a fresh OO settings profile?

A suggestion: compare settings on /Tools /options /OpenOffice Calc : View (merely a guess)

Victory!!! Thank you acknak, the profile reset did fix it. It has been so long since I've had to do a profile reset that I had forgotten about that "fix."

I guess that is a testament to how the product keeps getting better and better.

Ubuntu 16.4? Install LibreOffice from your package manager.
Hit win key, enter "software", start "Ubuntu Software" and search for "libreoffice". This is the office suite which is bundled with your distribution. It should be on your system already.

Reset OpenOffice profile:
$ killall soffice
$ mv ~/.openoffice/4/user ~/.openoffice/4/userx

before install oo, I had installef. libre but still same as before in ubuntu 16.0.4 64 bit so I Uninstall ubuntu 16.04 32 bit. and reinstall with 14.0.4 lts ...is works,
