in Calc 3.3.0 here are the directions that I used.
Grid lines- Specifies whether to display grid lines between the cells. For printing, choose Format - Page - Sheet and mark the Grid check box.

Re: [Solved] Printing grid lines in Calc
Thank you so much for posting the solution to this issue. I knew there had to be an easy way to solve this problem. I could not figure out the solution through the help file. Just wanted to say I really appreciate the RON IA for taking time to post solution.
format - page - sheet - grid (click on grid)
worked for me to print grid lines on final print.
TRY THIS SOLUTION BEFORE DOING OTHER WEIRD THINGS THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN POSTED LIKE CHANGING PRINT DRIVER, ETC.

Re: [Solved] Printing grid lines in Calc
1) Hit F1, choose Calc from the top-left list box, select the index tab, type "grid", pick "printing sheet grids".I could not figure out the solution through the help file.
2) Visit this web-site, type "print grid" into the upper-right corner and hit Enter.
Please, edit this topic's initial post and add "[Solved]" to the subject line if your problem has been solved.

Re: [Solved] Printing grid lines in Calc
I am having this same problem. The posts above partially solved the problem. Unfortunately it doesn't print grid lines unless there is text in the cell. I need it to print the blank cells also.

Re: [Solved] Printing grid lines in Calc
Just put a dot (.) or other small sized character into the last cell you want to print.
You can set the color of the character to white. The cells of the non empty sheets (until the last non-empty cells) will be printed.
(And You can unheck the "Suppress output empty pages" parameter in the Tools - Options - Libre/openOffice Calc - Print - pages menu item - if you need it.
