[Solved] Creating report after modifying layout?

so i created a report in the report wizard, and the very last step i have to choose between modifying the layout or creating the report now. i need to modify the layout, but after i do so, i don't know how to import the information from the query i'm using. this probably isn't tough, but i'm a novice. thanks!

If all you are changing is the layout then all you need do is save the report and then run it.

The SQL statement generated form the query you selected was moved into a hidden control on the report..it is still there.

OK, so how do i run the report once i have the layout set in writer?

save it, close it. Go to the reports section of the base window and open it...double click or right click and select open instead of edit.

cool, thanks! after a report has been created is there a way to get back into the wizard and change the settings in there for it?

Not via the wizard no - you can do hand changes only - but you can change everything by hand pretty much
