Try removing the ?lang=en-US
Apache OpenOffice 4.1.6 on Xubuntu 18.04.2 (mostly 64 bit version) and very infrequently on Win2K/XP

I have just tried twice, using each URL; I got through immediately. Try accessing using the link off http://www.openoffice.org/download/. If that doesn't work you could try traceroute to the URL to see where the link fails - it might be that it is blocked by your ISP.

The site appears to be in need of some maintenance. I can access the site using the link with no problem. The problem occurs when selecting a template. Clicking some templates gets "Access Denied" (CD, DVD, or Blu-ray disc label template). Clicking others opens a page with no description or download button (family tree form v03). Clicking others opens a page with a description and a Download button (Weekly Tasks to do List).

The CD, DVD, Blu-ray templates you mention are all disabled; they seem to originate from one company and all template links to that company fail. Most other links I tried worked.

I need help, I downloaded some open office templates, can someone please explain to me how I do get them into the program so that I can use them? I m not good with extension stuff. Thanks

To import templates, start at File > Templates > Organize.
