[Solved] Newline, tables, symbol palettes

Post by steve196 »

How do i do a newline in Math, when i want several lines below each other?
How do i do a table or a matrix?
Where are all the symbol palettes? I only get a tiny one and common stuff like index positions or the integral symbol or the implication among others are missing.
Thank you!

1) first newline second
2) matrix {a # b ## c # d }
3) View > Selection (each item in the top view gives you a different set of items in that category)
4) Insert > Special Character to insert a symbol; Tools > Catalog to define a %symbol code

Some sources of general information:

online help: Help > OOo Help > OOo Math > Index = "reference tables"

A couple more are listed in this thread: http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/ ... f=12&t=921
