I do not know how to install from the down load

I am running Xubuntu, version 6.0.

I downloaded [using firefox] Openoffice 2.3.1 and got a file, "OOo_2.3.1_Linuxintel_install.wjre_en-us.tar". Double clicking did not result in a set or instructions.

How do I proceed to install this Suite?
