[Solved] file association help!

I installed OO 4.1.2 but still can't make the file association to .doc & .docx files.
i right-click the file, then ->properties->open with ->(OO is not in this list)

How do i get OO to show up in the "open with" list??

im using ubuntu 15.10

nevermind!! i fixed it!

i had to install the "desktop-integration" package....
OpenOffice 4.1.2
ubuntu 15.10
