[Solved] Settings and colors

Post by piano1311 »

Good day,

I'm running Windows 8.1 with OO 4.1.1. Soon I
change more colors or add. As far as I understand it, I can not new colors
add, but modify existing ones.
Where the color palette is saved because, in the event of a global withdrawal
the changes?

Greetings from Germany
and thanks for a message.

All settings, templates, global macros, dictionaries and stuff are stored in the user profile folder %APPDATA%\OpenOffice\4\user\
The color palettes are stored in config/*.soc (plain simple XML).

Thanks,

I have p.e.
C:\Users\klavier\AppData\Roaming\OpenOffice\4\user\config\standard.soc
or
C:\Users\klavier\AppData\Roaming\OpenOffice\4\user\config\palette_de.soc
etc.
Today (11.8.15) I have made 2 changes, the file "standard.soc"
has this date. The Colornames in standard.soc are in english, in oo in german,
p.e. "Yellow1" -english- "Gelb1" -german-. I do not find another file that translates.

Can I save the folder "config", make my changes
in Extras/Einstellungen/Colors and go back with the
save folder, or only with fhe files, that were changed ?

Greetings from Germany
