It is a long time since I made a database on MS Office. However I've been using NeoOffice for word processing and spreadsheets ever since I got my iMac in 2007 although never had the need to create a database. I have started a database. It has three tables and I have produced reports and queries but they look pretty bad!
NeoOffice Help recommends I install Sun Report Builder. This doesn’t exist. However its replacement, Oracle Report Builder downloads but refuses to install giving the following error message:
I don't know what that means. It does seem impossible to produce a Report with a sensible layout using either the wizard or the design view. I'm not sure whether the Help pages will be more helpful if or when the Report Builder finally installs.The extension cannot be installed as the following system dependencies are not fulfilled:
OpenOffice.org. 3.2
