Welcome beginner. Please answer all of the questions below which may provide information necessary to answer your question.

Which version of OpenOffice.org are you using? 4.2
What Operating System (version) are you using? Windows XL
What is your question or comment? Is there a way to display only recent documents created in the program currently being used?
For instance, if I have recently created a lot of word processing documents, the next time I load Open Office in Calc, there are no recent spreadsheet documents listed.

Wow, you're ahead of your time. Latest stable is 2.4.1 and 3.0 is still a beta.
