Export report to (web) template engine

I'd like to export my report structure to a template engine (html or pdf).
I did not see any means to export the report structure/template/logic so far, any hint?

The plain and simple Base report is a Writer document with one table and some field variables. The table has one row of column labels and a second row as place holder for the data. Open the report for editing and save it as a stand-alone Writer document.
Things are different if the report builder extension has been used to create the report.

I use the report builder extension indeed, and would like to export the small tweaks that actually make the report reflect my needs: the intermediate groups, sorts, position/size of objects (including variables) in layout...
seems like a long shot, but I gotta ask since that would be so great!
