Hey guys,
I've been trying to figure out how to use icons with conditional formatting. When value X in Cell D4 is less than 40, I want the green traffic light icon to show, for example.
How does that work?
Thanks,
Mario

It does not work at all. Such a feature does not exist.

Your nearest solution might be to either set a cell to green or red (traffic light colours) or to change the background of the key cell. I know the subject of coloured bakgrounds and styles comes up regularly on the Forum. I don't do Calc, so can't help beyond this suggestion.

LibreOffice, not OpenOffice. Your signature says OpenOffice 2.4.
