How do you change the area to be printed on a document?

Need some additional information. Would recommend you read the survival guide for this forum http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/ ... ?f=5&t=166

Main things here would be which component in OO.o you are using and what exactly is happening, and what you want to happen.

I guess you're talking about Calc to select a range of cells.
Not an expert but I've seen 2 features that could be worth investigating :
- Print dialog -> bottom left, there is a Selection button.
- Format>Print Ranges (but could not manage to eventually display the range in the range preview for example).

Thanks to add '[Solved]' in your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.

NB: moved your thread to the Calc forum.

If you are talking about Calc, you can see them with View > Page Break Preview
and you can change them with Format > Print Ranges > Edit...
From memory, Format > Print Ranges > Define is a bit unfriendly in that it immediately deletes any existing range, so I always use Edit.
