How does one create return address labels in Writer and print on Avery 5260 Laser labels? 5260 labels
are 1"x 2-5/8", 3-columns, 750 labels per sheet.

Re: Creating Return Address Labels
Hi and welcome to the community forum!
I would start by looking at the worldlabel.com site. They have lots of templates for OOo that are compatible with Avery products.
Plan B would be to look for an MS Office template but there can be glitches when used with OOo.

Re: Creating Return Address Labels
Okay... This is my first attempt to use Writer to create return address labels... I downloaded the appropriate template and typed in the name/address... Now what?
Also, what do you mean by "OOo"? Thanks.

Re: Creating Return Address Labels
I could guess that you need to copy/paste the content from the label you filled in to the empty labels and then print the labels--but that's just my guess.tvtomo wrote:... I downloaded the appropriate template and typed in the name/address... Now what?
If you need some more specific help, you have to describe exactly what you need, and what actually happened that doesn't fit with what you need.
TLA for "OpenOffice".Also, what do you mean by "OOo"? Thanks.

Re: Creating Return Address Labels
You don't need to download anything.
At File > New > Labels > Label tab, select the correct Avery Letter Size label then near the top check the Address box. If this doesn't show you the correct return address then uncheck the box and type in the correct one. Go to the Options tab and check Synchronize then click New Document. If you want to do any editing then do it in the upper left label and then click Synchronize to pass the edit along to all other labels.

Re: Creating Return Address Labels
When I do this it only creates a single lable. How do one create an entire page worth of return labels ?

Re: Creating Return Address Labels
Let's try the downloaded template. The one I downloaded is named WL-875.ott.
I assume that return labels all have the same return address (yours).
Open the WL-875.ott
menu:View>Non-printing characters (Ctrl+F10).
The thing has a table with 3x10 cells with no visible borders. The visible paragraph marks help you to see the cell positions by the paragraph marks.
Fill out the top left cell, select its content, copy and paste to the 31 other cells.
Save the result under some name such as "Return Labels on Avery 5260".

Are you at File > New > Labels because when I do this I get a page full. When I do this it only creates a single lable. How do one create an entire page worth of return labels ?
If it still doesn't work for you the go to the Options tab and check synchronize. When you do New Document whatever is in the upper left label came be passed to all labels by clicking the Synchronize button.
