Hi!
I saved my file, shutdown my computer, and now it's broken!!
First OpenOffice told me to delete a .dll file somewhere, and then it keeps asking me to choose an ASCII- filter!
All I can see is 96 pages of # .... my document was 9 pages !!!
Can anyone please help me retrive ta file, or is it completely broken ?!
Thanks in advance !
Broken file, please help

Re: Broken file, please help !!!!
Sadly, quite nothing to do, see: 22 pages term paper replaced with pound signs.
Check the temporary folder of the system (see in OOo Tools>Options>OOo>Paths). If there are folders like sgmlf.tmp with a file having the same name inside, make a copy of that file, rename it in .odt and cross your fingers.
I think there are less reports about such problems, upgrading to AOO 3.4.1 may help.

I would like to suggest you to choose third party tool to repair inaccessible openoffice file. Kernel for Open office file repair software comes with free trial version of software. You can try the free trial version of software to get the preview of recover data.
