Suggestion: OpenOffice publisher

Post by moltres_rider »

didn't know where to put this so I put it here...

there currently isn't anything in OpenOffice that replaces MSPublisher... can OpenOffice impliment Publisherlike app into a future release??? I regret having to do this but I had to pirate Publisher 2010 because OpenOffice doesn't have this!!! I migrated to OpenOffice because I had a very old MSOffice (2003) and that had publisher... I am surprised the OpenOffice doesn't have that!!! can you guys consider implimenting a Publisher based program in a future release???

The search did not bring anything about publisher up! Except this thread!

Please don't shout! Hagar's link threw up 290 matches on Publisher when I tried it.

open source DTP as a search in Google brings up a lot of options too. Scribus being at the top of the list and one well worth looking at. If you want vector images in your file the Inkscape is also worth a look
