Finally after a whole lot of trial and error, I created the perfect slideshow. Next came what I thought would be the easy part...uploading to YouTube. Not! Everything I have tried fails miserably. Every file format I convert to is not recognized by YouTube. Tried exporting as Flash with .swf extension, tried pdf...no good. YouTube requires Flash presentations to be uploaded in the .flv format. How the heck do I convert my Impress Slideshow into the .flv format?

Re: Uploading Impress Slideshow to YouTube?
The converters work ONLY if POWERPOINT is installed on your computer. What's the point of dumping Office if you still need to use it?

I have the same problem. 2 1/2 years and still no solution? How about writing software to make Save As... include an option of FLV? I'm sure there is someone out there who is up to the challenge

just doing a quick google I see that there are quite a lot of swf to flv converters, both commercial and free out there. How about one of those?
