Self-Introduction

Post by imacat »

Dear all,

Hi. This is imacat (Yang Shih-Ching) from Taiwan. I'm a member of the Apache OpenOffice Project Management Committee. I'm the new root administrator of the OpenOffice user forums. I'll be helping the Apache infra team to manage the OpenOffice user forums.

I found that the root forum admin has no automatic admin accounts for each forum, so I will ask the admin privilege of each forum one by one. Thankfully there are not too many user forums (10 I suppose). Please help me on this. *^_^*

As for myself: I'm currently a busy graduate student in National Taiwan Normal University working on my Master paper. Also I come from the OpenOffice Taiwan Community and the OOo4Kids project. I may not hang on all the forums, so you may mail post the problem and drop me a private message if you need me to join the discussion.

Welcome to the forums! I am very happy that you have agreed to help with the administration. I have seen from your contributions on the mailing list that you will fit in very well with our present contributors and I look forward to working with you.

A warm welcome from the Dutch language forum. I suppose that Drew will be able to give you all the privileges/permissions you need for the nl forums.

Hi imacat!

Welcome!
Glad to see that things are on the right path with infra team.
Edit: Made you Moderator so that you can access the archives and the private section. Can't make you admin. Drew or Terry will do soon I guess.
