Hello,
I am wondering if it is possible to add a junction (like a dot, small circle) to lines that intersect, similar to what one would see in a schematic capture program. Is there a way to do this using Draw, other than drawing a small circle?
Thank you.
Adding a junction or intersection to overlapping lines?
Re: Adding a junction or intersection to overlapping lines?
How would Draw know whether the lines are connected or not?
Anyway, the answer is no, Draw has no way to draw intersections any differently.
One way to work around this is to use line ends, and make a connected intersection from the junction of four lines with round end markers. Make sure you select the "Center" option for the line ends.

Thanks for the prompt reply.
Yes, I thought of using the lines with the round end points, but found the end points quite large!
Thanks anyway...

You can easily adjust the size of the ends to any size you want.

Re: Adding a junction or intersection to overlapping lines?
It's getting old now, but the CADOO.o extension can (could?) do that.
Re: Adding a junction or intersection to overlapping lines?
I have installed cad00.o (version 0.13.6) extension on my windows xp. There is a "cut" operation similar to that of autocad. I could not get it to work after several tries. How do I get help documentation on cadoo.o?

This is new to me, but on the extension page I bumped into the web site, which might help.bteck wrote: How do I get help documentation on cadoo.o?
There's a "Brit" flag for those not proficient in French.
