Hi, I am trying to set up an email account. I work for a company and they issued me a company email. Now I just want to attach it to open office . I think that's what I need to do ...I don't now.. I need help..
It would be great to actually have a Customer support Phone number....I talk to someone the other day and misplaced the phone number and now I can not find it anywhere on line. Thanks

If your referring to customer support for OOo there is no phone number. Support is here from users like you.
OOo will detect your default email client except for Window Live Mail 2011. What email client do you use?
Use Tools-->Options-->Openoffice.org-->General and put in your user data along with your email address.

In the same dialogue you will find > Internet > E-mail program.

Yes. Set it in Tools > Options > Internet.

I followed directions to set up email, tools---options---openoffice---user data---cut and pasted my email address where it was asked for. But when I try to embed email in a document, it says 'no email found'. Also start--defult programs doesn't give me an option to set up and email default.

If you are using Windows Live Mail than you can't send an email.You need something like Thunderbird.
