Convert Microsoft Word 2003 - XML file type to PDF

I want to convert microsoft word 2003 xml file format to pdf , is this possible? I tried converting using jodconverter but the output pdf was showing xml , any suggestiong if word 2003 xml file can be converted to pdf ?
windows xp open office 2.4

everything went ok
OpenOffice 3.3 on Windows 7
