Using Ubuntu 11.10 and LibreOffice 3.4.4.
Alt-KAT (key above tab) is a great way to switch between instances of a single application. In LibreOffice, this works if and only if the second or subsequent instances of the application are invoked from the LibreOffice menu bar (file->Open) rather than double clicking inside of Nautilus. I don't know if this is a bug with LibreOffice or with Ubuntu, but I would like to point it out so that somebody can address it. Thank you.

I've also found that if you "snap" (pardon the windows terminology) a Writer window to the left or right you lose the minimize/maximize icons. I suggest this bug is related to LibreOffice menu not conforming to the Unity standard.

Have you reported it on Ubuntu - Launchpad Bugs?apdobaj wrote:I don't know if this is a bug with LibreOffice or with Ubuntu
Are you intent on using Unity? Have you tried Gnome or KDE? If so do you get the same problem?
LibreOffice 7.x.x on Arch and Fedora.
