Thanks, The Team!
I used the first link provided and entered into a cycle of (1) logging in (2) receiving confirmation that I had logged in and (3) being asked to log in.

In the end, after the 3rd or 4th time getting (2), I clicked on the link to the forum index, which loaded with a link 'log in'.

Sorry, I'll make sure that it's on my to be fixed soon list. The general issue of ooo-forum vs user.services is but I'll specifically check this one, as it will confuse the general users. Terry

Yes, I hope it is clear that the ooo-forums.apache.org site was created for the staging, but the live site (even though mapped from that) is still at the old standard http:// u.s.oo.o/... Forum URLs.

We need to make ooo-forums.apache.org invisible in some way or have it redirect to u.s.oo.o/... so that no bookmarks or deep linking happen into ooo-forums.a.o. The site is still used to implement the current instance, but there is no reason to spread that ooo-forums URL around.

I still receive the occasional email from the forum with the apache urls. Emails from the forum are the source of the urls, not bookmarks.
