Importing wps format to OpenOffice.org
For years I have used MS Works word processor because that happened to be installed on my first computer decades ago, so all my text files are in wps format. Now I want to change to Open Office and have installed it successfully but it will not open wps files. Can anyone info me how to open wps files in Open Office?

Making a search in the forum for "works wps" with the quotes included, can get some threads about the issue.

Use Libreoffice http://www.libreoffice.org/. It supports .wps files.
