Hi,
I am a student, but do not have MSOffice. I use OOo 3.3 or 3.4 Beta. Some programs I use for homework automatically open a doc to proof it or grade it, but they want the docs to be .docx files. Any way I could hope to be able to save as .docx in the near future?

Re: SUGGESTION
Hi and welcome to the forum!
Better avoid the OOXML format, have a look at: MS Office 2007 OOXML file format (docx, xslx, pptx, ppsx).
Standards like ODF (native format for OOo) have been designed for interoperability.
NB: LibreOffice has decided to support OOXML. Not the best decision IMHO. OOo could save in OOXML but it was the team's decision not to allow that.
