I have an XY Scatter plot, and decided to hide the columns with the data.
As soon as I hide them - the Chart clears, the data points disappear?
Is this supposed to happen?
If so - I fail to understand why that would be desired?
OpenOffice 3.2.1 OOO320m18 Build 9502
thanks!!

It's a default option. Under Format > Data Series, check "Include values from hidden cells."pconroy328 wrote:I have an XY Scatter plot, and decided to hide the columns with the data.

Re: Why does Chart data disappear when columns are hidden?
Note that the resolution there was to give users the option whether or not to display values from hidden cells.
Getting the option set for a hidden data set is a bit of a nuisance, but the option is there.
