Trouble printing transparency film on HP 8500

I can print on transparency film using OpenOffice Draw on our HP 7400 inkjet printer. I upgraded to an HP 8500 inkjet and everything works fine except it will not print on Transparency film using Draw or Adobe Reader. Prints on paper no problem.
All of the printer settings have been set properly but it ejects the film and the printer gives an error message "paper size or type are incorrect". I can print on film if I export the .odg as a pdf and open it with Photoshop. The 8500 ins connected with a usb cable.

Any ideas?

Verify the options of the printer in the configuration of Menu / file / printer OOo, they might have been kept different from the system.
