Loading a distant csv file into base

Hello,

I want to load distant csv file into base (http://server/file.csv).
Is it possible?

You've got to download the file and refresh the tables, as far as I know.

I'm not sure if this helps or not, but you can load a remote CSV file directly into Calc.

Just use File > Open, or as I prefer, Insert > Sheet From File, then enter the url for the remote file. You may or may not have to specify the file type as well.

Once you have the data in a spreadsheet, it should be possible to move it into a database table fairly easily.
