[Solved] Windows 7

Post by salekna1 »

This is my first post and I'm sorry if I am not posting in the proper forum but this is a little confusing. I'm new to OpenOffice. I have not down loaded it as of yet and I like the thought of using it and helping any way I can. I would like to know if it is compatalbe with windows 7 pro? I don't see that operating system in the system requirements section.

It run on win7 home for me.

It must run on Pro version.

Some difficulties can happen when you install it on 64 bit version of win7.
OOo created only in 32 bit version.
Win7 64 bit can run 32 version of OOo, needs 32bit java, too.

Please create new post when you ask question not connected directly to earlier posts.
