Corrupt file??? full of #####

i have been browsing thease forums for hours, i had an .odt file and i belive that because i ran crap cleaner,, this is the reason i cannot open the file. well i can open it its just only ##################

this is a very inportant term paper, im trying to decide on rather to rewite now or try and recover it? ill attack the file in my next post.

if anyone can do anything, it donesnt need to be formated or anyhitng, i just need the words.. any help would be greatly greatly appriciated

I'm afraid you file is corrupted beyond repair.

I could get nothing from it. There is an outside chance that a backup copy may be in your User Profile. Search for asdf.bak.

i checked the backup locations, no luck. looks like i'm going to rewrite, thanks a lot for your help =)

LibreOffice 7.6.2.1 on Xubuntu 23.10 and 7.6.4.1 portable on Windows 10
