Font Changing Unexpectedly

Post by kenbo666 »

I have a document created in 2.3 and I'm enter a list of items all of style type "Text body" which is defined as font "Arial". Go back into the list to space indent certain items, the line's font will suddenly change to "Courier new". This format change can not be undone, but I can highlight the line and change the font back to "Arial".

I'm assuming this is a bug, but if it's not is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Try this: Format > Autoformat > While Typing = OFF

Does that prevent the problem from happening?

Text Body is a conditional style which can be set to change to a different style with different numbering levels. That would cause the different style to be applied automatically when indenting an item in a list, resulting in the font changing to that of the different style. Check the Condition page on the Paragraph Style dialog for the Text Body style. Scroll down to the Numbering Levels under "Context" and see if anything is listed under "Applied Styles".
