Saving to network locations - Debian Linux

Post by indigo196 »

I have not been able to get an answer at the Debian site so I am trying here.

I have successfully mounted two network shares (SMB) and I can see those on my desktop and use Nautilus to browse to files there. When I try to save directly from OOO I can not browse to those shares. Is this just a limitation to OOO or am I missing something?

Thanks.

PS -- yes I am fairly new to Linux.

Could it be linked to that bug : Issue 51026 - Unable to save or open files using UNC paths ?

Or is there any non alphabetical character in the path ?

NB: moved the thread in the Linux section.
