[Issue] Printing Notes on Same Page?

Is there any way I can set it up so I can print notes on the same page that they appear in the document, rather than having all the notes printed at the end?

Did you try File > Print > Options > Comments > End of page: ON ?

I've tried that, but the notes just get printed on a separate page.

When I used Word the notes would print on the same spot they were located visually on the page. This is the one feature of Word that I miss, and would love to find out that there's a way to actually do it with OpenOffice.

I found that also with Notes (Comments from v3.2). Footnotes do print on the same page.

There is a request for this: Issue 94514: [Notes2] Option to print notes inside of the text
You can register there and add your vote (up to two) or comment.

So far there is only the request; there is no specific plan for actually implementing it.

I'm looking for the same feature, and have found a workaround here: http://www.andrewcullison.com/2008/10/o ... ing-notes/.
The idea is to work in openoffice, but to use MS Word Viewer for printing the results.

Haven't tried it out yet.
