How do I call up or ceate a new spreasheet grid without getting the background color page? All I want is something that has rows and columns. Thanks

What do you mean exactly? Once you've configured your spreadsheet, you can make it your default template: [Tutorial] Creating a new default template.
Thanks to add '[Solved]' at beginning of your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.
