Custom Fields missing

I added custom fields in OpenOffice 3.1 version and save in RTF format. But these custom fileds are missing. We are able to see in .Doc format and .odt format. Is ther any option for adding custom fields for RTF format.

There are some issues with fields and RTF (see that query on the Issue Tracker) but it looks like it should be feasible.

Can you upload a sample file (see How to attach a document here)?
LibreOffice 7.6.2.1 on Xubuntu 23.10 and 7.6.4.1 portable on Windows 10

I attached the sampledoc.doc file, In this file i added custom fields siteid, version & document number . But i am trying to save this document to RTF format all these fields are missing. We need these documents in RTF format.

They get lost in the translation to RTF. The RTF support in OOo is a bit flaky to say the least.

It may be that some other word processor will offer better RTF support. I have heard Abiword well spoken of in that regard,
