I can't figure out how to change the default font for Impress on Mac 10.5 and OO.o 3.1.1.
As I mentioned elsewhere, the documentation is wrong.
I'd be grateful if you could help.

Re: Change default font for Impress
1. F11 to bring up the Style window
2. Select Default, right click -> "Modify" -> Font
2. Select Default, right click -> "Modify" -> Font

Re: Change default font for Impress
it's very simple to change the default font
1. No matter in writer or other components of OOo, press F11, you should get a dialog box of Style and Format
2. Alternatively, you can set it to be visible by : Format -> Style and Format selected
3. Now insert a table as you usually do
4. Move your cursor to any cell of the table
5. Check to see which is the default format of your table contents -> look at the Style and Format dialog box to see which one is selected
6. Right click on the item -> Modify
then you can change every thing about the style and format
Good luck
