I was using OO 4.1.2 when Calc stopped calculation. I uninstalled 4.1.2 and installed OO 4.1.6 TWICE
Pressing CTL-A, CTL-M, F9 has no effect
I have Tools-Cell Contents-AutoCalculate clicked on
I have done a complete virus check
I have done a full defrag
I have powered down - waited five minutes - then powered back up
Repeated all of the above to no avail
No matter what I do the cell doesn't show results only the formula - see attachment
I am obviously doing something wrong and stupid but for the life of me, I can't see it
Would someone please provide constructive help

Solution: TOOLS - OPTIONS - OPENOFFICECALC - VIEW - Uncheck Formulas - OK - Restart
I am guessing that the check box is available if one wanted to print out the formulas

Go to Tools | Options | OpenOffice Calc | View ; under Display ensure that Formulae is NOT selected.

You shouldn't need to restart to have this option take effect.

You might find it interesting to take a look through all the global settings that are available via Tools | Options for all the AOO tools you use.
