[Solved] Simple SUM calculation is doubling final total

Hi - I've been using this spreadsheet since Oct '17 to manage a chequing account. Very simple adding of entries week by week and the final row will tally the week's finances and equal the amount in the account.
Suddenly the SUM cell is doubling the amounts I am entering in the individual items.
In this image, you see a weekly total at the bottom. That number is copied to the top of the next column and the SUM function includes that number plus all new entries for the week.

But you see the total has doubled the entry amount - The $5.00 is calculated as $10.00.

=SUM(CJ3:CJ51) - So CJ3 is the beginning balance. Cell CJ52 has the SUM calculation. Doesn't get any simpler than this.

Is there a simple setting that's been messed up? Is my file corrupt? I just can't figure this one out.

Thanks for any input.

Welcome to the Forums.
Please use the same method that you used to attach the picture, but attach a copy of your spreadsheet.
Most of the information won't matter, but we need the spreadsheet to be able to properly compare what your spreadsheet actually has to what you are reporting.
Usually when something like this happens, it's because there's another SUM being included.. but without being able to see your actual spreadsheet, not a picture, there's no way for us to determine why this is happening to you.

It is very hard to tell what is going on without looking at the file itself. Can you make a copy of the file, erase everything except the two columns you show in your image and post that version?

Sure no problem posting the whole file. Can't just do 2 columns because of other calculations in the file.

Rows 48 & 49 are hidden.
Unhide and you will see why.

SMH! Not sure how that happened. Thank you.
