How to Edit Spreadsheet

I created a document in Open Office Spreadsheet. I need to edit it. The Help topic mentions Master and Navigator, but there is no link to get there! So HOW do I edit my document??

Have you tried /File /Open?

Yes, I have tried File/Open. It opens the document, but does not allow for editing. I have gone thru every tab, and none give you an option to edit.

When you /File /Open, is there Read-only on the title bar?

Note that, when one opens a file, unless the file is flaggged as "read-only" , usually shown on the application title bar, one is in Edit mode.
