Postby hoookieee » Thu May 02, 2019 6:21 am

I have a CSV file that looks like this in Gmail:

I downloaded the CSV and tried to open with Calc
This window opens

And this is what the file looks like

I was wondering if it is possible to open the sheet and make it look the same way it does in Gmail?

The appeared panel is the IMPORT FILTER. It is for the text based data files, what may has many various settings.
You must adjust the settings of the import filter:

- the data separator character/s/,
- the text delimiter characters,
- the locale of the date type columns
- etc...

Then the file will be appeared in the Calc as you expected.

In this case choose the Comma as Data separator character.
