[Solved] How to remove left ribbon?

Hi, not sure even how to search this, so here goes. In working on a basic summing budget, something happened and now I have something on the left side of my window/ribbon with a [1][2] and halfway down the page by row 24 a [-], which if I click will become a [+] and hide row 24. Clicking the [1] and [2] will perform the same as clicking the [-] and [+], respectively. How do I get rid of that, entirely? Image link shows it better.

Select the column and then the menu Data -> Group and Outline -> Ungroup.
