Hi!

Is it possible to remove "empty" rows in drop list?
I want to achieve a more compact list.

Check the box : "Sort entries ascending" in the data validity dialog (just above the source).

Delete cells in order to shrink the list.
Insert new cells before filling them in order to expand the list.
This works with all references in the entire Calc applications, formulas, names, charts, conditional formatting, validity, list boxes, combo boxes, whatelse.

Make sure that Tools>Options>Calc>General: "Expand references ..." is turned on. This way you can also insert new cells directly below the reference, for instance insert at X11 in order to expand a reference X1:X10.
Please, edit this topic's initial post and add "[Solved]" to the subject line if your problem has been solved.
