[Solved] Decline predictive text in Calc

The predictive text feature is usually very helpful, but I can't work out how you say no to the predicted offering if my intended text is complete. For example, I want to write the 3 letter word "Sun" in a cell. I type in "S", "u" and "n" and at this point the cell contains "Sunday" with the "day" part highlighted in blue. If I click on the next cell I want to work on, then "Sunday" is what gets left in that first cell. But I specifically wanted just "Sun". What do I have to do? I've tried pressing the ESC key before moving out of the cell, but that doesn't work.

Hello,

try hitting the 'Backspace' key (upper to return key),
or turn off the Auto Suggestion in the Calc options

Thank you both.
DEL and backspace both work.
Auto suggestion can be useful but I would rather you had to positively accept the suggestion than positively decline it.
