Good day
I have 20 sheets linking to my first sheet, and unable to link an additional 5 sheets ive added to the spreadsheet.
To specify the problem, theres one cell in each of the additional sheets which will not link.Other cells are fine.
Its a document so I cant remove the cell,as it needs the data in that specific place.
I've tried comparing sheet 20 with 21 with one notable difference that I couldn't fix.
Sheet 20 cell number reflects =$Pensioner.G32 & sheet 21 cell is =Pensioner.G33
which I alter to =$Pensioner.G33 and still it will not link.
Please may you advise me ?
Thank you

Re: Additional Link cells not working
I think that we probably need an example. Is there any way for you to cut down the size of the file while still showing the problem and uploading it here? There is an upload tab at the bottom of the Quote and Reply windows.
The forum has a maximum file size of 128k. If your example is larger you will need to upload to a file hosting site such as
Dropbox or MediaFire and post the download link here.

Re: Additional Link cells not working
-1- Did you enter the formula manually, or did you create the reference by clicking into the respective cell?ralphd wrote:...which I alter to =$Pensioner.G33 and still it will not link.
-2- In what way did the result show you that "it will not link"?
===EDITING===
-3- Are you sure that the cell where you put the formula in not is set to the (fake) 'Numbers' format code "@"?

You can make a copy of your file and delete everything that is not related to the problem and upload a small version of your file.
This is how references work in all spreadsheet programs: viewtopic.php?t=2443
The only thing that is special in Calc is that Calc knows relative and absolute sheet references.
