I just had my spreadsheet crash and had to recover it. I did the recovery thing and a version of it that was saved 3 hours ago is all that I have now. Three hours of work gone. I have autosave on, so I have no idea what happened or why. Can I recover this lost file in any way?
Thanks,
Chris

Try your luck with [Tutorial] How to find and un-delete Writer temporary files which applies also to Calc files; no guarantee that you will get any more than you already have, but worth a try.
May I suggest you adopt a strategy of saving your files frequently, and perhaps consider installing and using the Time stamped backup extension.

Thanks I'll give both a try. I thought having auto save on was the strategy for saving frequently. I have no idea why open office has this happen so often, having to recover files for no reason I can tell.
